Our first individual has now successfully moved into their new home, marking the beginning of this exciting new service, and we're looking forward to welcoming a second person very soon. As the service continues to develop, you'll have the unique opportunity to help build a positive, person-centred culture from the outset, supporting each individual to settle into their home and achieve the life they choose.

Your role

As a Support Worker, you'll empower people to live the lives they choose by:

• Supporting individuals with everyday routines and helping them achieve their personal goals.
• Encouraging independence while supporting people to enjoy hobbies, interests, family time and activities within their local community.
• Promoting dignity, choice, respect and positive outcomes every day.
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation to ensure high-quality, person-centred support.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals to provide consistent, outstanding care.

About you

We're looking for someone with previous experience in a care or support setting who is passionate about making a positive difference in people's lives.

You'll also bring:

• A caring, positive and proactive approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A sound understanding of safeguarding and your responsibilities in protecting vulnerable adults.
• Confidence in making informed decisions and solving problems.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A commitment to maintaining high standards of health and safety.
• A willingness to learn, develop and contribute as part of a supportive team.
