Job description

Buckinghamshire College Group is seeking an inspiring and experienced Business specialist to join us as Programme Lead – Business on a 12-month fixed-term contract at our Amersham Campus. This is a unique opportunity to combine your passion for teaching with impactful academic leadership, driving the growth and excellence of our Business provision.

As Programme Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction and day-to-day delivery of Business programmes across the College. You will provide both academic leadership and operational oversight, ensuring a high-quality, coherent curriculum that meets the needs of our learners and stakeholders.

Working closely with the Curriculum Manager, you will support continuous curriculum development and innovation, helping to expand and strengthen our Business offer.

This role is structured as a 50% teaching commitment and 50% remission for leadership and oversight.

The successful candidate will be required to:
  • Lead and develop the Business curriculum to ensure high-quality delivery and strong student outcomes
  • Provide academic leadership and support to teaching staff
  • Oversee programme performance, including achievement, retention, and progression
  • Drive curriculum innovation and growth in line with employer and sector needs
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to ensure consistency and excellence
  • Contribute to the wider strategic direction of the faculty
